Reller, Stuart Roberts (b. 6 May 1945, d. 20 Jun 1994)

Note: Stuart died at home after struggling with a rare form of cancer for overfour years -- thymoma. It had apparently started in the thymus gland, andeventually tumors spread throughout his body. One wonders if its origin was at allrelated to his congenital problem with what was finally diagnosed as "cyclic neutropenia." CHAN: CSTA @C7@ CHAN: CSTA @C2@

Reller, Scott Harris (b. 4 Jul 1948, d. 6 Aug 1987)

Note: Scott died of AIDS after two years of struggling with the illness. Jeanand Bill took his ashes from Washington, DC to their home in Richmond,Indiana. They dedicated a small area in a lovely meadow on their hlllside as a naturepreserve to be managed by Earlham College. Scott's ashes were buried there andthe spot is marked by a simple flat stone. Roberts, Stuart Weller (b. 10 Apr 1918, d. 19 Jun 1944)

Note: Stuart was flying a Navy dive bomber from an aircraft carrier in amission to bomb the Agana air strip on Guam in an effort to retake the island fromthe Japanese during World War II. His plane was shot down. After he had atfirst been listed as missing, the family was notified in November of 1944 thatthe wreckage of his plane had been found and he had been declared killed inaction. His remains were interred on Guam and later removed with those of other servicemen to the Punch Bowl military cemetery (National MemorialCemetery of the Pacific) in Honolulu, Hawaii.
