Worden, Ethel Merle (b. 4 Sep 1889, d. 21 Aug 1948)

Note: Mother died at home (the house on 10th Street) of cancer which had first appeared in the pleural cavity and later spread to her lungs. She livedonly eight months after the diagnosis. Because Walter was in Europe at thetime, and we had three small children and no money, I was not able to go East forthe funeral. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Lakewood.
